The main goal is for Eagles to develop independence and responsibility. They discover and learn to be unique, curious and independent through play.
This studio serves Eagles who are 4 to 7 years old.
Young Eagles process everything through their senses. The environment provides well chosen materials and activities to give them a joyful learning experience. They work at their own pace by setting and evaluating their personal goals each week.
The basic rules by which this studio manages itself are:
- Respect myself.
- Respect others.
- Respect the environment.
- Be honest.
Learning in Spark
Eagles explore through real life experiences topics that range from science, geography to cooking and other interesting topics.
Goals and Accountability
Eagles learn how to set and achieve their goals, as well as holding each other accountable to reach their goals.
Eagles develop skills when handling on their own real life materials, such as glass, ceramic and more!
Learning to read, to write and do math
Eagles develop the basic skills to become independent learners.
JOY + RIGOR = MASTERY
Embracing rigor is part of saying ‘yes’ to a Hero’s Journey. Deep learning brings a special sense of joy, but the mastery required for a Hero’s Journey goes even further, requiring commitment, discipline and hard work towards a worthy goal.
